The Green RoomWhile the upstairs is one large living room, downstairs consists of a double bedroom, kitchen/dining room, two bathrooms and utility room. In addition, a little garden sitting room (with wheelchair access) opens off the kitchen while, on the opposite side, a green house looks out over the sea. Note that the green house is more of a glazed veranda than an indoors room, so depending on the direction of the wind, some water can blow in during a gale.
Facilities include under-floor gas central heating, a wood burning stove upstairs, washing machine, tumble dryer, an electric grill and small oven with a larger fan assist oven below it, microwave, gas hob, a DVD player, wi-fi, and speakers for MP3 players. Please note that the under-floor heating does not extend to the garden room or the green house.
The garden gate, immediately outside the Green Room, leads directly to a footpath that can take you down to the shore, along the cliff tops, or across the golf course.
Occupants of The Green Room are welcome to use the croquet set and to borrow our wet suits and snorkels.
The "pollinator's garden"
The "Garden Room" has large windows that capture the afternoon sun and look out over the "pollinator's garden". It contains a day bed and can be used as a bed room for an additional person - but, be warned, this room is not heated though there is an electric blanket.
